Drumline Camp Information

Okay yes, it’s finally happening. Mr. Bryant will lead a drumline basics camp for beginners interested in marching percussion. All student will be provided a set of sets and camp binder with lesson materials.

Students will start class each day with marching instruction before moving indoors for group class.

 

Students must bring a water bottle and wear athletic shoes*

1-Week Program

 

Dates: July 10-14

 

Time: Weekdays 9am-12pm

 

Location: St. Andrew Lutheran Church

(1353 Witte Road, Houston)

 

Ages: 10 and up

 

All materials provided*

 

Cost: $300 - includes pair of marching snare sticks and camp notebook

From there you will receive an email with access to our Parent Portal where you can easily pay your bill online, confirm your students registration and attendance records, view our school newsletters, and even sign up for future lessons.

Mr. Bryant - Owner of BMS

Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Mr. Bryant began his musical journey as a young child, taking piano lessons from his mother and participating in church choirs by age 7. After joining band in 6th grade, choosing the trombone as his instrument, Mr. Bryant would go on to perform in the Alabama All-State Music Festival before joining The University of Alabama Million Dollar Band trombone line his freshman year of college. After also successfully securing a spot on his high school drumline, Mr. Bryant went on to march two seasons as a member of Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps and for the University of Alabama Drumline. While in Ohio and completing his graduate studies at The Cleveland Institute of Music, Mr. Bryant was selected to represent the Institute with a performance at The Kennedy Center in Washington DC. As a multi-talented musician, Mr. Bryant’s studies and performance opportunities have taken him all over the world, including parts of Asia, Europe, and throughout the United States. Mr. Bryant loves all styles of music and welcomes students of all ages and skill levels, whether just starting out or prepping for collegiate or professional level auditions.
